We are the leader in ultra-high-purity polycrystalline AlN and have extensive expertise in AlN sputtered templates via HVPE. Our next-generation products include a revolutionary and innovative thermal management and passivation coating solution based on our proprietary composition of Aluminum Oxynitride (AlON). Combined with a patented high-speed sputtering deposition technology from our partner Fraunhofer FEP, our AlON coating technology represents the first major breakthrough in advanced substrate technology in the past decade.

At the core of our offerings, Aluminum Nitride (AlN) is revolutionizing the electronics industry. Our high-purity Polycrystalline Aluminum Nitride Boules provide unparalleled yield and performance for UVC LED and semiconductor production. AlN’s unique properties make it the ideal ultrawide bandgap material for high-power, high-frequency, and high-temperature semiconductor devices. It offers high thermal conductivity, very high electrical isolation, high thermal stability exceeding 2000°C, and resistance to chemicals and radiation. These characteristics also make AlN suitable for harsh environments, including aerospace applications. In the new National Strategy on Microelectronics Research released by The White House, AlN is recognized as a key material of national importance. The dramatically lower switching loss of AlN-based semiconductors can lead to significant improvements and reduction in carbon footprint in sectors such as the power grid, EV platforms, aerospace, and others.

Our Aluminum Oxynitride (AlON) solution is achieving new levels of performance in thermal management for microelectronics with a completely new approach to substrate and packaging design. AlON’s advanced thermal and protective coating capabilities offer superior heat dissipation, increasing device reliability and lifespan and reducing energy loss. This breakthrough in thermal performance will enable a new performance paradigm in applications such as electric vehicles, laser diodes, sensors, thermoelectric coolers, and various RF and sensing applications. This improved performance has the potential to lead to a significant reduction in carbon footprint.
